The website-associated guesthouses never disappoint, but The Schoongezicht Guesthouse truly raises the experience to the next level. Every detail in the room has been thoughtfully considered, with no expense spared in ensuring comfort and quality. This goes far beyond excellent mattresses and fluffy white towels. The hosts were absolutely gracious and welcoming. My only regret is that I was there for just one very short night! As a professional in the hospitality industry, I’m genuinely delighted to see this level of service and attention to detail emerging in this exciting, up-and-coming accommodation trend. Well done to the Schoongezicht team!

We were welcomed on arrival and greeted on departure by our very friendly and helpful hostess. The family room we stayed in was very clean, well equipped and top notch. The neighbourhood is quiet so we had a good night's sleep. A very positive experience for all of us.

Rooms clean and staff very friendly.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Schoongezicht Guest House in Durbanville and I couldn't be more pleased with my experience. The room was incredibly comfortable, featuring a bed that provided one of the best night's sleep I've had in a while.

One of the highlights was the dinner service, which offered delicious, old-fashioned South African meals like bobotie. It felt like a home away from home, with hearty and flavorful dishes that really showcased the local cuisine.

My colleagues had a great stay, and we will book future bookings with Schoongezicht. Friendliness, safety and cleanliness was excellent. The location is also very central being so close to Durbanville centre, in reach of conference facilities and shops.
